A hotel staff member later found her body in the parking area of Pittong Tower shortly after 1 p.m., just a few hours after she had checked in.
Following the discovery, she was taken to Paton Hospital and then transferred to Táchira Phuket Hospital for a full autopsy to determine the exact cause of death
